Event Highlights: YPS STUDENTS AT THE LEAD INDIA & DISCOVERY INDIA PROGRAMME

Four Students and a Teacher from YPS Mohali attended the 15 day Lead India and Discover India program in Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur from 02 to 14 Dec 2024. The program's eclectic mix of cultural immersion, adventure, and inspirational talks fostered a deeper understanding of India's rich heritage and diversity.
The students were treated to a veritable feast of iconic heritage sites, including Jaipur, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, and Ranthambore, which served as a poignant reminder of India's glorious past. The trekking expedition was a highlight, as it pushed the students out of their comfort zones, inculcating teamwork and perseverance

The program's guest speakers, including Shagun Choudhary, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Dr. Latika Nath, and Smriti Irani, delivered inspirational talks that left an indelible mark on the students. Their experiences and insights served as a clarion call, motivating the students to become active change-makers in their communities.
The students emerged from the program with valuable skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving, as well as a newfound appreciation for India's cultural heritage.
