Event Highlights: YPS HOSTS THE ALL INDIA IPSC UNDER-14 GIRLS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP – 21 – 24 Oct, 2024

YPS Mohali hosted the prestigious Indian Public Schools' Conference (IPSC) Under-14 Girls Basketball Championship from 21 – 24 Oct 2024. Twelve prominent IPSC Schools from across the country participated.
    
The tournament set an energetic tone as teams and supporters gathered to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. The tournament not only showcased basketball excellence but also promoted leadership, teamwork, and holistic development among the young athletes.

The tournament concluded with a thrilling championship match between YPS Mohali and The Emerald Heights International School, Indore (EHIS). The final saw EHIS, Indore secure a resounding victory with a score of 50-31. 

In the contest for third place, Pinegrove School, Dharampur, faced off against Hyderabad Public School, Hyderabad. Pinegrove secured a solid 29-16 victory, earning them the third spot in the rankings. This tournament also highlighted the emergence of new talents. Rishita Dubey from EHIS, Indore, was named "Most Promising Player of the Tournament," while Avantika from YPS Mohali emerged as the “Top Scorer with 97 points.  The tournament saw a celebration of competitive spirit and camaraderie along with teamwork, hallmarks of IPSC events!
