Event Highlights: SWARAANJALI 2024

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, hosted ‘Swaraanjali’, the second edition of the Inter-School Classical Vocal and Ghazal Competition, 2024. Fourteen schools from the tri-city took part in the competition. The eminent judges, judging the event were: Mr. Vinod Pawar and Mr. Shubhashish, both highly distinguished names in the field of music. Avi Narula from the Kundan International School was declared the Best Singer in the Vocal category, while Mayank from I.S. Dev Samaj Sr. Sec. School and Abhinavjeet Singh from YPS, Patiala, bagged the second and third prize respectively.
In the Ghazal (Solo) category, the First Prize went to Raavya Kaur, Kundan International School, the Second Prize was awarded to Pavijot Singh, St. Kabir Public School, and Jaskeen, Shemrock S.S. School, Mohali. The Third Prize was bagged by Harsimran Kaur of St. Soldier International School, Mohali. The Prizes were awarded by the Director, Maj Gen TPS Waraich, VSM** (Retd.)
Three hours of mesmerizing music, transported the audience into a spiritual realm of otherworldliness.
