Event Highlights: WORKSHOP - VULNERABILITY OF ADOLESCENT OF TODAY AND ROLE OF PARENTS

A workshop “Vulnerability of Adolescent of Today and Role of Parents” was organized by the school SW Counsellor, Dr. Rashi Jain in association with NIPCCD, National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (Ministry of Women and Child Development), Mohali on 12th July, 2024. This workshop was for the parents of grade 7-10 and the topic was decided keeping in mind the various issues faced by the parents of adolescent children of today. It was conducted by Ms. Sunita Sheshadri, Deputy Director, NIPCCD and Ms. Navdeep Saluja, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, NIPCCD. Issues like impact of social media, expectations of children and parents, family unity, conflict resolution etc. were discussed in detail, followed by an active Q/A session with parents.
