Event Highlights: ANNUAL ACADEMIC DAY 2024-25
Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, proudly hosted its 3rd Annual Academic Day on 16 October 2024. Lt. Gen. Rajesh Pushkar, GOC, 2 Corps, honoured the school with his presence, as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
The Chief Guest felicitated the ISC and ICSE toppers for the session 2023-24,. In addition to this, students with exceptional academic achievements were also honoured. The other trophies presented were: The Air Force Trophy, the Mrinal Dutta Trophy, Inter-House Trophies, the Badhaur Medal and the First Decade Medal.
The Director, Maj. Gen. TPS Waraich VSM**, apprised the audience about the progress and achievements of the students and school, for the session 2023-24.
A vibrant cultural programme of dance and music was the highlight of the day. The event began with a prayer song and concluded with a “Giddha” and an energetic “Bhangra” performance. The YPS Rock Band brought the house down with their peppy numbers, ‘Rasputin’ and ‘Daddy Cool’.
In his address to the gathering, Lt. Gen. Rajesh Puskar, gave an inspiring speech, encouraging the students to dream big and be fearless in life.
