Event Highlights: EARTH DAY SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

On 22nd April 2026, Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, commemorated Earth Day with thoughtfully curated special assemblies across both the Senior and Preparatory Wings, fostering environmental awareness and responsibility among students.

 

Students actively participated through poems, show-and-tell, and creative expressions centred around the 2026 theme, “Our Power, Our Planet.” A vibrant poster-making competition further showcased their creativity, blending art with impactful environmental messages. In addition, classroom activities across all classes reinforced the importance of caring for the environment and building sustainable habits from a young age.

 

A collective oath was taken by the students to protect the Earth, adopt sustainable practices, and embrace the principles of the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle—in their daily lives. The Eco-Club amplified the message through an engaging awareness drive, sensitising students to the urgent need for environmental conservation.

 

The Director, in his address, appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged everyone to take responsible actions towards preserving natural resources and nurturing the planet.

 

The assemblies left behind a powerful message of collective responsibility, inspiring young minds to become conscientious custodians of our planet.
