Event Highlights: AFS NORTH ZONE REGIONAL MEET
Tuesday, July 28, 2026
YPS, Mohali proudly represented by Sahiba Kaur and Rabbani Gaba, accompanied by AFS Coordinator Ms. Varuna Mehta, participated in the AFS North Zone Regional Meet, hosted by Sunbeam Dalimss School, Varanasi, from 24 – 26 July 2026.
Bringing together 50+ schools and nearly 100 students, the three-day meet provided a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas, intercultural learning, keynote sessions, and meaningful connections.
The students also explored the timeless spirit of Varanasi—experiencing the spiritual charm of its ghats, witnessing the mesmerising Ganga Aarti, and visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. These experiences offered invaluable lessons in cultural adaptability, mutual respect, and global citizenship.
Adding distinction to the occasion, our School Director, Major General TPS Waraich, VSM, graced the event as a distinguished panelist, engaging the audience with his insightful perspectives.
A truly memorable, enriching, and inspiring experience for our students—one that celebrates the spirit of intercultural understanding and learning beyond classrooms!
