YPS Mohali proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its young basketball players at the Punjab State Basketball Championships, where our students represented the S.A.S. Nagar District Teams and secured Silver Medals in both age group categories.
Nehmat Maan (VIII), Yashika Bhatt (VII), Rehat Gill (VII), and Lianna Godara (VII) represented the S.A.S. Nagar District Team at the Punjab Girls Sub-Junior (U-14) State Basketball Championship, held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana, from 31 July to 02 August 2026. The team delivered an impressive performance to win the Silver Medal.
Adding to the achievement, 4 of the 12 players in the district team were from YPS Mohali — the highest representation by any school in the district.
Agamnoor Kaur (X), Jasmeet Kaur Tamber (IX), and Penaaz Sidhu (VIII) represented the S.A.S. Nagar District Team at the Punjab Girls Youth (U-16) State Basketball Championship, held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana, from 11 to 14 August 2026. The team showcased remarkable skill and determination to secure the Silver Medal.
Notably, 3 of the 12 players in the district team were from YPS Mohali — once again the highest representation by any school in the district.
Two Championships. Two Silver Medals. Seven YPS players representing the district.
A proud moment for YPS Mohali and a testament to the talent, dedication and sporting spirit of our young athletes.
Well done, Champions!
