Event Highlights: YPS MOHALI EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2025

YPS, Mohali celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and a strong message of environmental consciousness on 22 Apr 2025. Special assemblies were held in the Preparatory & Senior Wing to commemorate this day, aiming to instill awareness and responsibility among students towards preserving the Earth.
The assembly featured speeches, prayers, thought of the day & soulful songs performed by our school choirs. Their melodious rendition echoed the themes of love for nature, sustainability, and collective action for a greener tomorrow.
An Oath-Taking Ceremony was held where everyone pledged to adopt eco-friendly habits, reminding all of their duty to protect the Earth and emphasizing the critical importance of conserving our planet.
An E-waste Collection Drive encouraged students and staff to bring in their old electronic items for safe and responsible recycling.
A Poster Making Competition saw creative and impactful artwork by students, showcasing their ideas and commitment towards environmental conservation.
Other eco-centric initiatives like planting saplings and classroom discussions on sustainability further enriched the celebration.
