  • Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu strikes golds in Asian Games
In an exciting showdown at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, Indian squash player Harinder Pal Sandhu, an esteemed ex-student of Yadavindra Public School in Mohali, showcased his remarkable skills alongside Dipika Pallikal Karthik, in the mixed doubles category. The dynamic duo eked out a 11-10, 11-10 win over Malaysia’s Aifa Binti Azman and Mohammad Syafiq Kamal in 35 minutes. The nation claimed two gold, one silver and two bronze medals in squash, and has made its mark at the Asian Games 2023, achieving its best-ever medal tally in the history of the tournament. Sandhu's alma mater, Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, undoubtedly takes pride in nurturing such sporting talent.
 
  • Nimar Kaur Virk honoured by the Cabinet Minister
Nimar Kaur Virk, a student of YPS Mohali (from Class X ICSE 2023 passed out batch) being honoured by Cabinet Minister Shri Aman Arora for excellence in Sports on the occasion of Independence Day 2023 at Mohali.
 
  • Ranmeekjot Kaur becomes the youngest member of PUCSC
Securing 4,084 votes in Panjab University Campus Student Council elections, Ranmeekjot Kaur, an ex-student of batch 2021 got elected as the Vice President. Bagging the title of being the youngest council member ever in the history of Panjab University, she became the first woman to join the council after 5 years.
