Achievements: 30TH COL FRANK VON GOLDSTEIN MEMORIAL DEBATE

YPS, Mohali participated in the prestigious Col Frank Von Goldstein Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition hosted by YPS, Patiala, from 24 to 25 Aug 2023. A total of 16 schools including Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sec 27, Chandigarh, PPS, Nabha, Vivek High School, Chandigarh, Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, Mohali, Army Public School, Ambala Cantonment, Welham Boys’ School and Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun, and Mayo College, Ajmer, participated in the competition. Our team comprising Sabreen Kaur Mann and Samardeep Sandhu of class XII, and Bhavnoor Kaur Cheema of class XI, spoke against the topic: “World peace is a delusion”, and emerged as the winners of the debate competition.
