Event Highlights: YPS MOHALI CELEBRATES XLIII FOUNDER'S DAY
APRIL 09,2022, MOHALI: In the tradition of reminiscing and celebrating the legacy of the school, YADAVINDRA PUBLIC SCHOOL, MOHALI, celebrated its 43rd Founder’s Day on 9th April 2022, after a gap of two years, with great delight and enthusiasm. On this day, the school reverently remembers the contributions of our founding fathers who dared to dream and toiled endlessly to bring into existence an institution of such high repute.
Mr. Anil Nehru, a member of the board of governors, YPS Association was the Chief Guest of the function which was graced by our distinguished board of governors. He inaugurated the event by lighting of the lamp. Mr. Nehru along with the Director Maj Gen TPS Waraich, felicitated the perseverance and resilience of all those students who had performed brilliantly in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities and brought laurels to the institution. A large number of parents and students were in attendance to witness the prizes being awarded to over 100 ICSE students and 67 ISC students for their accomplishments in the academic year 2020-21. The tri-city toppers in the Medical, Non-Medical, and Humanities streams were awarded silver medals. The audience was enthralled with the melodious rendition of songs and graceful dance performance by KG, JUNIOR, and SENIOR WING students. A special ART EXHIBITION was put up for the parents showcasing the talent of our students.
Upholding the values of VIDYA, VINAY, and VEERTA the school remained undeterred in its pursuit of excellence and continued to provide meaningful opportunities both in and out of classrooms during the Pandemic, to come out with flying colours. The school continues to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, inculcating values that will help the students to become global citizens. The school will forever build on the hopes and dreams of our founder members!
