Achievements: YPS MOHALI WINS ACCOLADES AT FIT INDIA QUIZ 2021

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali became the Punjab state champion in Fit India Quiz 2021 (INDIA’S BIGGEST QUIZ ON FITNESS AND SPORTS) presented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Education with Fit India Mission in celebration of 75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

21 Students from YPS Mohali participated in Fit India Quiz – Preliminary Round which was conducted from 15-16 November 2021. Manan Thareja stood 7th in Punjab State Ranking. Manan Thareja and Jaivir Singh Sandhu of Class XI stood first in the semi final and final of Punjab State Web Round conducted on 12 February 2022 and qualified for Final National Round held at Mumbai. The semi final and final rounds of the state were telecast on Doordarshan (DD) National Channel and webcast on social media channels of Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Pan-India 36298 Students participated from 14140 schools. 72 Students from 36 states and UTs competed in the Final National Round held at Mumbai from 21 – 29 July 2022. Students of Yadavindra Public School, Mohali were among top 12 teams of India who reached the semi final by topping the quarter final.

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali was awarded with the prize money of Rs. 2,50,000 for being the State Round Champions and the Manan Thareja and Jaivir Singh Sandhu were awarded Rs. 12,500 each.
