In the year 2003, our school was awarded with the most computer literate school in the state. The awards was presented by President H.E. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to our honorable principal, Dr. Harish Dhillon. The awards was released by the Ministry of Communiation (Department of IT). It was awarded on a project which required all the details about IT Education in the school. Three students of class XII - Manjive Singh, Randhir Kumar, Jasleen Kaur along with Ms. Sushma Negi attended the award distribution ceremony at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. Apart from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the ceremony included ministers like Kamal Khan Jaswal (Secretary – Dep. Of IT), Dr. Shakeel Ahmed (Minister of State for Communication and IT), and other ministers.  We are proud of YPS !
